You’re cool beans…

Hello, it’s been a while ! Just the usual – work, work, work-itty, work. AND a residential week away with my class. Such fun… (actually, it was!)

Anyhow, I have made a couple of cards in the interim, but they’ve been of the “we missed her birthday! get a card in the post ASAP!!!”  Don’t like pressured card making…. This one kinda was, it’s going out to church with us today to our friend Dave. And he is cool beans.

Sentiment: Elzybells. Company now gone, but she works for Penny Black so it’s worth checking their stuff!

This sketch is from Seize the Birthday, and the peekaboo inspiration is from Crafting Clare

I am entering this into the new challenge at A Passion for Papertrey – stamp your own background. This is a technique that I love – it’s so effective ! It’ll also go into the Seize the Birthday challenge !

No more card making today. Reports, reports, report-itty, reports. Apparently, “Aye, she’s doin’ fine” doesn’t quite cut it…..

Aw, reports – I remember those days (part of teaching I really don’t miss!!). Glad you found a wee bit of time to share your card with us though – love how you used the little coffee cup for your background.
Thanks for joining us at A Passion for Papertrey.

It’s been too long since I’ve visited, but I can see you have been very busy making good things! This is such a great background and I’ve not come across that fun saying before. I love your cute birdies too. Hope you are keeping well and that the reports are done!

It’s always fun stamping your own background and this is great fun Margaret! I love the peekaboo section too and feel very proud to think I might have inspired it! In answer to your question, yes – all the stamps and accessories on the lists are retiring and some are discounted, some aren’t. Hope that helps! Vicky x
