Waltzing into Autumn

Autumn is my absolute favourite season.

No question.

Maybe it’s the trees turning. Or the geese returning to the loch. Or even the year moving steadily towards Christmas.

I’m not sure, but I know my heart leaps.

I made this card for a dear friend who is going through a really tough time just now. Last year, on my journey to work I saw a tree change just like this – flaming from one spot out. Every day it gave me a grace-filled breath.

I am entering this into the September Waltzing Mouse Blog Party.

Oh wow, this is probably my favourite tree I’ve seen stamped with teeny trees, the variety of colours and the shape of your tree are beautiful, and your little hill and birds take what I always consider to be a cartoon like stamp to another level. Beautiful.

What a BRILLIANT way to use teeny trees – how great to be inspired by a real tree doing that too.

Oh my word, that tree is AMAZING! Love the effect of the leaves changing. It steals the show, so it’s perfect with the sweet CAS design of the background!

What a beautiful and serene card. I love the way you did the colors on that tree, and the flying birds really add a lot to the card.
