Kinda chuffed with this one, after the weakening of the mojo muscle. Sketch is from clean&simple and stamps are Papertrey Ink’s Beyond Basic Borders ( I never get tired of this set !) and Hero Arts Time to Enjoy ( which doesn’t seem to exist any more 😦 ) Ink is Versacolour Rainforest.
Me likey. You ?

Hi ! Yup, been away – first to a friends wedding ( which meant a panicked making of a dress-eek ) and then we were supposed to go away camping, but, as anyone who is watching the Open on telly can testify, it’s not exactly been camping weather in the East of Scotland…. However, all these shenanigans have meant that I haven’t been card making and I feel it shows ! I sat for AGES yesterday trying to get going but all I came up with was:
Sketch is based on No Time To Stamp ?
and I’m afraid I can’t give you any more details about the stamps ! They are among the first I bought – forever ago ! I am VERY tempted to add an AFRICA sentiment on the end – just not sure
Anyhow, thanks to Sharon for the sketch that finally got me into action !

Remember my wee unfulfilled card from a couple of posts back – just sitting waiting for the PTI to arrive ? Well, here he is !!
* Plane image is from PTI
* City words are Inkadinkadoo (but I got mine on eBay !)
* background paper is a Crafter’s Companion CD
This wasn’t exactly the idea buzzing in my head, but that didn’t work – and I think this does !
So school is officially all over for another year. I didn’t make it in today as planned because our car has broken down… eek. I kinda feel a little lost – I think I needed the closure !! Never mind – I am actually going back in next Wednesday to get my class set up for next year, and I have TONS to do before next session. My laminator is sure going to get a workout this summer !

… but this time for my boss.
It’s been a very difficult year in school for a variety of reasons, and my boss has also had to help me with a couple of professional issues. I really appreciate the fact I can go to her and she listens. You get the feeling she cares about making your working life more easy – and is there for you. I’ve worked for other people who have ENTIRELY different agendas… Anyhow, I like to be recognised when I do a good job, and I feel other people probably do to !
* image is Hero Arts Poppy Background
* sentiment is Hero Arts Thank You Messages
* stamped with Tumbled Glass and Shabby shutters Distress Inks
* butterfly punched with Martha Stewart punch
PS One more sleep! (altho technically I finish at 3.15pm today – I don’t want to miss that holiday feeling in school tomorrow ! )
