I’m on a roll!!!

Must be a combination of having my new stuff out ( and some of that new stuff hasn’t been out of its packing for the last 6 mo. 😦  )  and inspiration…

….oh, and a 3yr old on an extended nap….

…but look at me go !!!

This one is for my dear SIL – just because…

Supplies – Papertrey ink stamps  – Everyday button bits

Ink – Tim Holtz Distress “Tattered Rose”, Versafine

And the scanning on this one is AWFUL !!!

It’s for my FIL’s birthday on Tuesday

Stamps – Everyday Button Bits and Beyond Basic Borders – Papertrey ink

Ink – Tim Holtz Distress Peeled Paint and Versafine (seeing a pattern here yet ??!)

Not sure about putting a sentiment on this….

Anyhow – gotta go clear my space and spend time with said 3yr old…. yup, she’s awake !!

Another card…. another challenge….!!!

I’m not really as blase as that sounds !! In fact, it wasn’t til I read the small print that I realised I could enter <—- for the “A Passion for Papertrey”s challenge with a nestie – I LOVE this label design!!

This is for a dear family friend who is under the weather. I really appreciate the sentiments that Papertrey use – cute without being unappropriate, and unspecific (eg not “Get Well” for someone with a chronic condition) I also LOVE the colours on this card. I rarely use yellow, but, now the snow has gone, our January just seems so dark and dismal…. Hopefully it will cheer her up !

All in all, v simple (yes, I hear the “just like you!” from here !!!)

Supplies – On the couch additions – Papertrey Ink, WHispers and Versafine inks ( others are your guess as much as mine !!)

Little boy rockstar

I got this image just before Christmas and it’s so cute – I don’t have many “men” stamps and this is particularly appropriate for a number of men in my life !  It’s one of those cards where the front flap is folded back on itself and the image juts out over the inside. Rubbish explanation – I know !

Image is by Anna Dunn www.squigglestamps.com

(apparently quite an exclusive series; but stocked in my local craft store – Stampaholics in Perth !!)

Two special birthdays yesterday – my mother’s and my dear friend had a baby boy! Here is my mums card:

The background paper is from one of my old books. I LOVED ballet as a child – I also hated doing it. Just not disciplined enough.

I might put some of the new baby’s card up later, but I’ll need to be v careful scanning it as there is some personal info that I wouldn’t want anyone to read on a blog if it were my little girl. There are some strange people out there and it always amazes me how much info and personal photos people put out there !!! Would they let a complete stranger rifle through their photo albums at home – or hand out cards with their childs name, DOB, city, school name etc???? Sorry, rant over. As a teacher – and a mother- it’s something that freaks me out ! Maybe see you later with a partially scanned concertina card !!!

Hmmmm…. what do YOU think??

I’m not sure about these two. Don’t know if it’s because I am quite under the weather today (why do heavy colds always wait til DH is working 3 nightshifts in a row?!) They are both from another Oz-somestamps sketch. The first card is “just because”.  I was inspired by the PTI challenge to use stars and this does qualify with teeny tiny stars on the branches !!! I love this PTI set – Beyond Basic Borders. This card is growing on me….

The second is a birthday card for DH grandpa – over 90 and still helping his grandkids with his skills !!! Wow!

Stamps are all Papermania

For both these cards I used Tim Holtz distress inks. I do love these inks….. !

So, what do YOU think ?
