This is a card for a friend of ours who LOVES cars – I actually bought this Papertrey Ink set with her in mind, but it’s been one of the most used sets I’ve ever bought ! The car is heat embossed with holographic powder and the headlamps are stickled. I also use PTI Just the Ticket and the matching die to make the little tickets behind the car (PTI Enjoy the Ride) I also heat-embossed a Hero Arts negative stamp image over the place they got married on the map background ( a genuine roadmap !! ) She loved that little touch ! The card also tied in with their gift – off-road driving !
I am entering it for A Passion for Papertrey’s latest challenge – the song being the Beatles “Ticket to Ride” Although it’s not authentic to the theme of the song ( and I hope it never will be !!) there are tickets and a car – what more do you want !!
edited: I am also entering this for the Moxie Fab World “The Map to Your Heart” challenge – well, stamping certainly is one of the routes to my heart !
